Au delà du PR: Beyond PR goes global.

Beyond PR is now mispelled in Franglais, Italian (Soprano style), Spanglish, Beginner's Chinese, Japlish and World Cup tourist German.

Thanks to Trevor Cook who gave me this bad idea from looking at his excellent blog.

Joel, I can assure you the result in the italian translation is really hilarious ... Automating translation has a very, very long way to go before it works in an acceptable way. Nevertheless you find companies using this system, believing they are making their communication global... I receive every day examples of that via an italian email service, partner of PR Newswire... and hilarious does not give properly the picture....

I thought it would be after reading the French version. It was word per word translation and reminded me of how I wrote my first application letters in English for job openings in Asia (with a French/ English dictionary on my laps. I wonder how Beyond PR sounds in Chinese now. I hope it doesn't insult too many people.
