The Best job in the World, Queensland Tourism campaign explained

"... for US$1m, it generated US$70m of global publicity." and was probably one of the best campaigns of its kind I have seen for a long time. BBC.

Yes - great publicty stunt. But will the campaign meet the business objective? The campaign has been all about the 'job' and not about the area. The missed out on the opportunity to spread great content on Queensland itself. I wonder how many will remeber 'Hamilton Island' a few months from now. Here's my post:
